How To Make Peanut Butter Brownie Bars (Printable Recipe Included)

Are you looking for a recipe perfect for a party, or a family gathering? Try this recipe, a perfect combination of peanut butter and brownies! A quick little heads up, if you are looking for a recipe that is quick to make, this recipe is not for you. It takes overnight to cool, so try it out when you have the time.

Ingrediants:

  • 2 packages of graham crackers
  • 1/2 a stick – a whole stick of butter (it may vary)
  • 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup of peanut butter
  • a box of brownie mix brand

You will need:

  • 9 x 13 inch pan
  • mixer (optional)
  • measuring cup
  • spatula

This recipe consists of 3 different parts. A crust, a filling, and a topping. First I will show you how to make the graham cracker crust.

First you will need to crush up the 2 packages of graham crackers, until a chunck will resemble the size of a pebble. Then you melt the butter and mix it in with the graham cracker dust. Be sure that there is enough melted butter to make the mixture moist. When you are finished mixing it together, press it into the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Put it into the oven for 12 minutes at 325°

While that is baking, you will now make the peanut butter filling. Mix together 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk and a 1/4 cup of peanut butter. When the graham cracker crust is done baking, pour the filling on top of the crust.

Next you will make the topping. Make brownie mix as the box instructs, and then pour it on top of the filling into the pan. Bake it for 45 minutes at 325°

Last comes the hardest part. Once the bars are done baking, you must let it sit to cool overnight. I know it’s tempting to eat one, but if you don’t let it sit, you might as well call it a Peanut Butter Brownie Fail.
